1 Chronicles 16:8-11
8 Oh give thanks to the LORD, call upon His name; make known His deeds among the peoples. 9 Sing to Him, sing praises to Him; speak of all His wonders. 10 Glory in His holy name; let the heart of those who seek the LORD be glad. 11 Seek the LORD and His strength; seek His face continually.
23 …Therefore what you worship in ignorance, this I proclaim to you. 24 The God who made the world and all things in it, since He is Lord of heaven and earth, does not dwell in temples made with hands; 25 nor is He served by human hands, as though He needed anything, since He Himself gives to all people life and breath and all things; 26 and He made from one man every nation of mankind to live on all the face of the earth, having determined their appointed times and the boundaries of their habitation, 27 that they would seek God, if perhaps they might grope for Him and find Him, though He is not far from each one of us; 28 for in Him we live and move and exist, as even some of your own poets have said, ‘For we also are His children.’
21 For they all seek after their own interests, not those of Christ Jesus.
15 Truly, You are a God who hides Himself, O God of Israel, Savior!
6 Seek the LORD while He may be found; call upon Him while He is near. 7 Let the wicked forsake his way and the unrighteous man his thoughts; and let him return to the LORD, and He will have compassion on him, and to our God, for He will abundantly pardon. 8 “For My thoughts are not your thoughts, nor are your ways My ways,” declares the LORD. 9 “For as the heavens are higher than the earth, so are My ways higher than your ways
and My thoughts than your thoughts.
24 Because I called and you refused, I stretched out my hand and no one paid attention; 25 And you neglected all my counsel and did not want my reproof; 26 I will also laugh at your calamity; I will mock when your dread comes, 27 when your dread comes like a storm and your calamity comes like a whirlwind, when distress and anguish come upon you. 28 Then they will call on me, but I will not answer; they will seek me diligently but they will not find me, 29 because they hated knowledge and did not choose the fear of the LORD. 30 They would not accept my counsel, they spurned all my reproof. 31 So they shall eat of the fruit of their own way and be satiated with their own devices.
29 But from there you will seek the LORD your God, and you will find Him if you search for Him with all your heart and all your soul.
1 Chronicles 22:19
19 Now set your heart and your soul to seek the LORD your God;
1 Chronicles 28:9
9 “As for you, my son Solomon, know the God of your father, and serve Him with a whole heart and a willing mind; for the LORD searches all hearts, and understands every intent of the thoughts. If you seek Him, He will let you find Him; but if you forsake Him, He will reject you forever.
2 Chronicles 7:12-14
12 Then the LORD appeared to Solomon at night and said to him, “I have heard your prayer and have chosen this place for Myself as a house of sacrifice. 13 If I shut up the heavens so that there is no rain, or if I command the locust to devour the land, or if I send pestilence among My people, 14 and My people who are called by My name humble themselves and pray and seek My face and turn from their wicked ways, then I will hear from heaven, will forgive their sin and will heal their land.
13 You will seek Me and find Me when you search for Me with all your heart.
2 Chronicles 12:14
14 He did evil because he did not set his heart to seek the LORD.
7 Hear, O LORD, when I cry with my voice, and be gracious to me and answer me. 8 When You said, “Seek My face,” my heart said to You, “Your face, O LORD, I shall seek.” 9 Do not hide Your face from me, do not turn Your servant away in anger; You have been my help; do not abandon me nor forsake me, O God of my salvation!
1 How blessed are those whose way is blameless, who walk in the law of the LORD. 2 How blessed are those who observe His testimonies, who seek Him with all their heart.
